To align with internship base recruitment needs, broaden student employment opportunities, and strengthen cooperation between the college and the internship base, Associate Dean Yu Sumin and Teaching Secretary Song Yinuo from Shenzhen University's College of Management visited the Bao'an District Hangcheng Subdistrict Office on the morning of July 12, 2024. They were warmly welcomed by Liu Bu, the dedicated deputy director of the Party Building Office, and Liu Xin, the head of the Party Building Office group.
At the beginning of the meeting, Associate Dean Yu Sumin outlined the College of Management's regulations concerning student professional internships and requirements for internship duration, and intern benefits. She emphasized that internships are integral to the student development plan, crucial for applying theory into practice and preparing students for their future careers. The Bao'an District Hangcheng Subdistrict Office has been a high-quality internship base, offering numerous positions that significantly enhance students' practical skills. Therefore, she expressed hope for deepened collaboration in internships and practical training, and for more positions to be made available for students.
Liu Bu agreed with Associate Dean Yu Sumin's remarks and introduced the internship process and management rules of the Bao'an District Hangcheng Subdistrict Office. She noted that Shenzhen University students who have interned and worked at the office have demonstrated high professional standards and practical abilities. The office fully recognizes the capabilities of Shenzhen University students and welcomes them for internships and work. As a popular government outpost, the office has received many internship cooperation requests from various schools, thus not lacking interns. However, considering the needs of the College of Management, Liu Bu stated that they would tally the required internship positions and promptly coordinate with the college.
Finally, Associate Dean Yu Sumin and Deputy Director Liu Bu had a detailed discussion about student internship arrangements and cultivation. Associate Dean Yu Sumin presented an "Outstanding Internship Base" plaque to the office.
