On February 28, 2025 (Friday), the offline lecture of Qizhen Forum (80th) of Department of Business Administration, SZUCM was successfully held. The guest speaker of this lecture is Jia Yipao, assistant researcher of School of Economics and Management, Dalian University of Technology, and member of the Special Committee on Enterprise Innovation and Industrial Policy of China Association for Science and Technology Policy Research, director of Technology Incubation and Innovation Ecology Branch of China Society for Technology Economics, and director of the Special Committee on Intelligent Manufacturing and Digital Intelligence Ecosystem. His main research fields: digital innovation, platform strategy, etc..
In this lecture, Prof. Jia Yibao discussed and shared his insights on the theme of “Insight into Practical Wisdom by Case Study Method: The Breakthrough Road of China's Domestic Substitution of Key Core Technologies”. Focusing on the implementation path of domestic substitution strategy, Prof. Jia took Beijing Guoke Tianxun Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and Jiangcheng Laboratory as typical cases, and explored the breakthrough process of aerospace and aviation precision devices and quantum communication core components. Aiming at the current bottlenecks such as reliance on imported high-precision devices and low conversion rate of scientific research results, Prof. Jia pioneered the research paradigm of “case-driven theoretical evolution”. They believe that by dissecting a leading enterprise like NUCTECH, which has achieved 100% localization of chip protocols, they can not only extract the inner logic of technological breakthroughs, but also provide vivid samples for the construction of a management knowledge system in the Chinese context.
At the end of the forum, the participating teachers and students actively participated in the in-depth discussion with Prof. Jia Yipao. Finally, Mr. Chen Xingyu acted as the moderator to conclude the forum successfully and expressed his heartfelt thanks to Prof. Jia Yipao again.
