Speaker's Biography
Li Zhichun, professor and doctoral mentor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2006, he graduated with a doctoral degree from the School of Economics and Management at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. From 2006 to 2008, he engaged in postdoctoral research at the School of Management at Fudan University. From 2004 to 2011, he visited and worked at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for 5 years. The main research areas include transportation infrastructure investment decision-making, transportation economics, regional science, etc. Led research projects such as National Outstanding Young Scholars, Excellent Young Scholars, Key Projects, Major Projects of National Social Science Foundation, New Century Excellent Talents Project of the Ministry of Education, National Hundred Excellent Scholars Special Fund, and Huo Yingdong Young Teacher Fund. So far, over 80 SCI/SSCI papers have been published. Currently serving as the deputy editor in chief of SCI/SSCI publication Transport Policy, Transportmetric B, Journal of Advanced Transportation, and editorial board member of Transportation Research Part E, International Journal of Sustainable Transportation. Received the second prize of the Natural Science Award from the Ministry of Education in 2020 (ranked first). Selected as a highly cited scholar in China by Elsevier in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
