October 23, 2023 Published

On the afternoon of October 21, 2023, in North 207 at LihuCampus, Lecturer Pan Yanping invited Ms. Yang Qiongna, the founder of Qiaoyang Consulting Company and an expert in innovation and entrepreneurship organizational development, to conduct a sharing and exchange session for students of the 22nd MBA class in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management program. The theme of the session was "The Growth Path of Sci-Tech Companies - Organizational Development Practices in Early-Stage Technology Companies."

Ms. Yang Qiongna, an MBA graduate of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, has studied in Silicon Valley, USA, and Edinburgh, UK. She has previously served as the President of the Ruyu Technology College, the Director of Human Resources, and an early member of Ruyu in its first year (2013). She has had over 18 years of experience in human resource management, with early career positions in large multinational and private enterprises. She has received numerous awards, including the title of "Top Ten Chief Human Resources Officers in Guangdong Province" and "Top Ten Outstanding Professional Managers in Shenzhen."

The sharing and exchange session consisted of four segments. First, Lecturer Pan Yanping led the students to watch a case study video, reviewed the knowledge they had previously acquired, and introduced the guest of the sharing session, Ms. Yang Qiongna, in a grand manner. Following that, Ms. Yang shared her observations and insights from her professional experience regarding the characteristics of science and technology innovation companies, the key aspects of organizational development at different stages of the innovation and entrepreneurship journey, practical cases and solutions in innovation and entrepreneurship organizational development, and her personal experience transitioning from a career manager to an entrepreneur.

Next, after Ms. Yang had completed her presentation, the session moved into a Q&A segment where the students actively asked questions, and Ms. Yang patiently responded to each one. Finally, Lecturer Pan summarized the content of the sharing and exchange session comprehensively and supplemented it with relevant theoretical knowledge. She encouraged everyone to think actively about the essence of business growth and to read related books and materials.

Even after the sharing session had concluded, the participants were still eager to gather around the teacher and guest to seek advice on issues related to business growth and human resource management. This sharing and exchange session expanded the students' horizons, stimulated their interest in thinking about issues related to the growth of startups and talent management, and left them with valuable insights.
