Speaker's Biography

Shan Yu, PhD candidate jointly trained by Nankai University and University of Missouri-Columbia, Associate professor and master tutor of School of Business Administration, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, deputy director of Department of Business Administration, deputy director of Case Teaching and Research Center, high-level imported talents from Dalian, Liaoning Province, management research expert of Hisense Group. He has presided over a number of scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, the Humanities and Social Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. Her main research interests are Chinese enterprise strategic management, international enterprise management, and digital innovation. She has conducted research in Huawei, Hisense, Haier, BYD, Neusoft, Jiefang Power and other enterprises. She is good at case study methods, and has published more than 20 articles in journals such as Management World and Nankai Management Review. The research cases I have written have won the Best Case Award of "China Enterprise Management Case and Quality Research Forum", "China · Practice · Management Forum and China Management 50 Forum", "Annual High-end Forum of China Business Administration Research", the second prize of the fourth "Excellent Developer" Case Competition of Tsinghua University, and the first Prize of Tianjin Social Science Outstanding Achievements. The teaching cases written by him have been selected as one of the 100 outstanding management cases in China for many times and are included in the China Management Case Sharing Center and the China Business Administration International Case Database.
