On the afternoon of December 3, 2020, Forum on Innovation of Public Administration and Social Governance (No. 55) was successfully held in the 1400 conference room of SZUCM. Professor Luo Liangbo (distinguished Professor of School of Public Affairs & Law in Southwest Jiaotong University) was invited to address an assembly on “How to Write High-quality Academic Papers on Public Administration”. This forum was hosted by Geng Xu (a faculty member of the Department of Public Administration in SZUCM). Professor Ma Weihong (Associate Dean of SZUCM), Lai Weijun, Xiao Diwen, together with some graduate students participated in the forum.

    Professor Luo came straightly to the question of coding and decoding in public administration and laid stress on the importance of academic research. Regarding a high-quality paper, he went into details from different perspectives and pointed out that learning and exploration could not take root without Chinese reality and interdisciplinary innovation.

    The teachers and students present interacted ardently. They discussed with Professor Luo on how to do researches on public administration, how to work on papers, how to apply for projects. The forum ended in the heated discussion.
