The 2026 SZU Young Scientists Forum (Melbourne Session) was successfully held at the University of Melbourne on 9 February 2026, hosted by the College of Management, Shenzhen University. The event aimed to promote SZU’s talent recruitment policies, strengthen academic ties with top Australian universities, and attract outstanding young scholars worldwide.

Led by Professor Chen Xingyu, Vice Dean of the College of Management, the delegation included school faculty Professor Chen Kun and Assistant Professor Luo Qinfang. Professor Chen Xingyu presented SZU’s rapid development, research strengths, and the College’s internationalization strategy. She highlighted competitive salary packages, comprehensive research support, and tailored career pathways for young talent, demonstrating SZU’s commitment to nurturing academic excellence.

Professors Chen Kun and Luo Qinfang shared their research experiences at SZU and engaged in in-depth discussions on management science, business administration, and related fields with attendees. Nearly 20 PhDs, postdoctoral researchers, and young scholars from the University of Melbourne, Monash University, and other Australian institutions participated actively.

During the Q&A session, scholars raised questions about grant applications, team building, and living support, which were addressed thoroughly.Following the forum, one-on-one meetings were held with promising candidates interested in joining SZU, solidifying recruitment outcomes.This successful Melbourne forum significantly advances the College’s global talent recruitment efforts, expands international collaboration networks, and elevates the global visibility and reputation of the College of Management, Shenzhen University.
