On the afternoon of December 19, 2020, the renewal ceremony of special-term professors and the seminar on the integration of industry with teaching and research were successfully held in the 1400 conference room of SZUCM.     In the renewal ceremony, Professor Li Li, Dean of SZUCM, made a speech and addressed that MBA education of SZUCM, since its inception in 2007, would never succeed without the support of our university and the hard work of the professors. She said, under the current environment of dual-zone construction, recommendations and suggestions on how to strengthen its characteristics and demonstrate its exemplary role on the further development of MBA education. Professor Li Guo, Associate Dean of Graduate School of SZU, commended our remarkable achievements in the national professional degree evaluation and believed that a more brilliant future was around the corner with the help of the practical expertise of special-term professors.

    After appointment certificates were issued, Professor He Heping, director of MBA education center, commented on the integration of industry with teaching and research in the documents, "Opinions on Accelerating the Reform and Development of Graduate Education in the New Era" by the Ministry of Education, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance, and “Development Pan of Professional Degree Graduate Education (2020-2025) by the Academic Degree Office of the State Council and the Ministry of Education. Experts and professors present had a heated discussion on problems and countermeasures regarding integration of industry with teaching and research in the cultivation of professional degree graduate students and gave valuable suggestions on how to cooperate, compromise and integrate.

    The meeting came to its end in the heated discussion. We are looking forward to enhancing in-depth collaboration with the industrial fields and scaling new heights in improving the quality and influence of professional degree graduate education.
