The MPA (Master of Public Administration) program in Shenzhen University, first launched in 2010, is designed to provide high quality professional education to students. The MPA program has a 3A goal for our students – Ability, Attitude, and Achievement, aiming at developing students to have international vision and innovative spirit to work in public administration sectors like governments, social communities or public institutions.
To equip students with the skills in solving public problems, courses taught by distinguished professors and senior government administrators. Senior practitioners and professionals from the public sectors in Shenzhen would share their actual experience with students. The MPA program provides “international perspective” courses owing to its close connection with overseas universities in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Singapore, and USA. It also offers overseas learning opportunities for the students to learn from the management wisdom in different cultural settings.
The teaching resources of Shenzhen University will be fully used by MPA program. Exclusive classrooms and seminar rooms which are equipped with modern multimedia devices are provided. Campus WI-FI can be widely used by MPA students. The lab resources such as ERP laboratory, the laboratory of e-commerce, logistics laboratory, and computer lab are also available by MPA students.
Candidates should have at least three years’ working experience with a bachelor’s degree. They also need to take an entrance examination including English, Mathematics, Logic and Writing and a second-round interview examination in order to join this program.
