January 6, 2025 Published

The College of Management successfully held its annual Interdisciplinary Team Research Project Review Meeting on December 31, 2024, reflecting the current emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration within academia. The core objective of this review meeting was to comprehensively evaluate and acknowledge the outstanding achievements of interdisciplinary research projects within our college, while also inspiring a spirit of collaborative innovation across disciplines.

For this review session, five experts from the fields of Business Administration and Management Science were invited for their profound academic background and extensive experience in evaluation, ensuring that the review process met high standards and professionalism.

The projects under review covered a broad spectrum of disciplines including Business Administration, Management Science and Engineering, Transportation Engineering, among others. This not only demonstrated the breadth of interdisciplinary research but also highlighted the depth of exploration by our college in these areas.

During the meeting, representatives from each project team provided comprehensive and detailed presentations on the background, objectives, methods, outcomes, and application prospects of their respective projects. The evaluation experts listened attentively and posed insightful questions regarding the projects' innovativeness, practicality, and degree of interdisciplinary integration, leading to productive discussions.

Experts conducted rigorous and fair evaluations of the strengths and potential shortcomings of each project, offering constructive feedback and suggestions. This served not only as a thorough examination of the research results but also guided future research directions for the project teams.

To date, the College of Management has organized six consecutive sessions of interdisciplinary team research project reviews, funding a total of 22 such projects. The successful operation of these interdisciplinary team research projects has not only enhanced communication and cooperation between disciplines but also injected new impetus into the in-depth development of interdisciplinary research. We look forward with anticipation to more excellent interdisciplinary research projects emerging from our college, bringing about more innovative outcomes for both the academic community and society at large.
