SHENZHEN, China– In line with the Central Committee and State Council’s directives on career education, Shenzhen University College of Management (SZUCM) organized an industry immersion trip to the Shenzhen Tesla Center on May 14, 2025. The visit aimed to deepen students’ understanding of the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector’s latest advancements.

Behind the Scenes at Tesla
Led by college faculty members Zhao Huida, Li Yun, and Ma Dapeng, nearly 40 students from the Business Administration and Information Management Excellence programs participated in the event. The day began with an exclusive corporate briefing, where Tesla representatives shared:
*The story of Elon Musk’s disruptive vision and Tesla’s rise as an industry pioneer.
*Key innovations in the S3XY vehicle lineup, including their record-breaking safety features.
*Tesla’s AI roadmap, highlighting the Dojo supercomputer and Tesla Botas next-generation automation solutions.
Giga Museum: Engineering Excellence Unveiled
At the Tesla Giga Museum, students explored:
*Scaled models of gigafactories, revealing Tesla’s vertically integrated manufacturing process.
*The brand’s closed-loop energy ecosystem, combining solar power and battery storage.
*A display of the white body frame, engineered using first-principles design for optimal safety.

Hands-On Learning
The afternoon featured test drives of Tesla’s latest models, allowing students to experience instant torque, Autopilot capabilities, and zero-emission performance. A Q&A session with Tesla engineers covered career opportunities in green tech, AI’s role in mobility, and global supply chain challenges. “This visit underscores how classroom concepts translate to real-world innovation,” said faculty lead Zhao Huida. The event reinforced SZUCM’s commitment to producing industry-ready graduates through experiential learning partnerships with global leaders like Tesla.
