Abstract

Typical stories of creativity and innovation focus on finding novel ways to solve important problems. Creative solutions reside inside the collective memory of people with diverse backgrounds. Cultural diversity refers to the extent of cultural differences that exist between people. Digital transformation mediates the relationship between diversity and creativity with new organizational forms, flexible work and distributed leadership. This lecture will address both benefits and challenges that cultural diversity imposes on creativity in the context of digital transformation.
