College of Management of Shenzhen University was awarded with BGA Gold Medal Accreditation at the 2024 AMBA & BGA Global Conference held in Budapest, Hungary. The BGA accreditation originated from the AMBA accreditation established in 1967, which was committed to management practices and lifelong learning. The accreditation was known as the three major accreditations for business schools together with AACSB and EQUIS. The gold award was a high recognition of the quality of teaching, strategic planning, and talent cultivation in business schools. During the conference, over 300 representatives from business schools in more than 50 countries and regions gathered to witness this historic moment.

At the gold award ceremony, Associate Professor Guo Hainan (Dean Assistant) represented thecollege and introduced thecollege's internationalaccreditation status to Andrew Main Wilson, CEO of BGA. Andrew highly praised thecollege's internationalaccreditation quality and influence. During the conference, Prof. Guo also spoke at the China Business School Special Seminar, introducing Shenzhen University's contribution to talent cultivation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and showcased the college's distinctive features of encouraging school-enterprise integration, responsible management research, and sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship.

Since joining BGA in May 2022, the College of Management at Shenzhen University has been committed to becoming " the most influential management school in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and be the cradle of entrepreneurs". With international development, the college has been dedicated to cultivating pragmatic management elites with social responsibility and innovative spirits. After years of efforts, the college officially became a BGA member in May 2022, passed the accreditation application in October 2023, and successfully completed the BGA visit on March 18th-19th, 2024. The college's curriculum development, faculty construction, innovative influence initiatives, and cultural atmosphere were highly praised by the BGA Panel.

The BGA Gold Medal Accreditation is a full affirmation of the international business education achievements of the College of Management at Shenzhen University and a great encouragement for the college's future development. The college will continue to use international accreditation as a driving force to continuously improve the level of education and quality, and contribute to the cultivation of more business talents with international competitiveness. At the same time, the college will also strengthen exchanges and cooperation with domestic and foreign business schools to jointly promote the prosperity and development of international business education.
