MBA Course Entrepreneurship Team and Partner Lecture: Liyuan Youth Innovation, Pursuing the Future was successfully hosted

On December 17, 2023, the College of Management at Shenzhen University successfully held a thematic lecture titled "Liyuan Youth Innovation, Pursuing the Future" as part of the MBA courses on "Entrepreneurship Teams and Partners." The lecture was organized by Dr. Ding Wanling. She invited four young entrepreneurs who are either currently studying at Shenzhen University or are recent graduates to share their experiences with the MBA students of the class of 2022.

The first to share was Yu Siyang, an undergraduate student majoring in Biological Science (Teacher's Training) from the class of 2020. Not only did Yu achieve the top comprehensive score in her college and was recommended to Tsinghua University for postgraduate studies, but she was also named "Guangdong College Student of the Year" in 2022. She recounted her experiences leading the "Intestinal Health and Longevity" team to win the top 10 international gold awards at the International Genetically Engineered Machine Competition (iGEM) and the gold award at the provincial level of the "Internet+" competition. She also shared her insights and opinions on the management of entrepreneurial teams.

The second speaker was Zheng Chujia, an undergraduate student who founded Shenzhen Zhili Design Co., Ltd. and serves as its general manager. Under his leadership, the team has completed the issuance of several well-known domestic and international NFT projects and has collaborated with over 30 companies, including China Mobile, Alibaba Auction, Lenovo, and OKX, to release a series of NFT works. Within a year, the company achieved revenue of over 4 million yuan. Zheng's passionate presentation covered his views on the development trends of the NFT market and an analysis of the current advantages and competitive challenges faced by Zhili Design.

The third presenter was Han Xinyi, a marketing major from the class of 2022, who is a member of the "Water Benefits All Things" project team that won the gold award at the 9th China International College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Han introduced the technical features, application prospects, and team strengths of the project to the MBA students and patiently answered questions from the audience.

The final presenter was Zheng Yanzong, a graduate from the class of 2022 in the field of Electronic Commerce. He has participated in the "Internet+" competition multiple times, winning national gold and provincial gold awards, and was honored as the "Liyuan Star" for two consecutive years at Shenzhen University. He founded the Shenzhen University National Competition Club (CClub) and serves as an innovation and entrepreneurship mentor at the university. Zheng shared his entrepreneurial experiences during his time at the university and, from the perspective of an innovation and entrepreneurship mentor, discussed the university's innovation and entrepreneurship education system and its support for young entrepreneurs.

The young entrepreneurs' inspiring stories were met with rounds of applause from the MBA students, and their entrepreneurial passion and academic talents were highly praised. The purpose of the "Entrepreneurship Teams and Partners" course in hosting this thematic lecture is to provide a platform for practical learning and exchange for MBA students. The attendees expressed that the lecture gave them a deeper understanding of the university's strengths in innovation and entrepreneurship education, and they found it very beneficial.
